Hreflang
Hreflang is an HTML or HTTP header tag that tells search engines which language version of a page is intended for which region.
For Belgian businesses with NL/FR versions, correct hreflang is essential: both nl-BE and fr-BE must be specified, plus an x-default. Without this, Google may serve the Dutch version to French-speaking Belgians or vice versa, with a direct loss of ranking.
