Social media for art galleries in Belgium

Previous content, for reference

This page retains its original address. The social media examples below come from the previous version of Flova. Automatic publishing, subscriptions and stated results are not part of the current writing studio’s offer.

Art needs no explanation. It does need an announcement.

Exhibition announcements, artist stories and vernissage invitations for art lovers and collectors. Flova writes posts every week for your gallery and schedules them on the evenings when people are planning cultural outings, on Facebook, Instagram and Google.

Common questions in your sector

  • Vernissages only reach your existing circle and no new audience
  • Artists are rarely introduced outside the exhibition moment itself
  • Works available for sale are not communicated visibly enough
  • Cultural visibility online is time-intensive alongside day-to-day management

Examples from the previous social media version

Vernissage Friday 23 May, 6 pm to 9 pm. New work by Antwerp painter Marie Claes, drinks included. Free entry.
Artist spotlight: Jef Willems creates abstract landscapes from his studio in the Kempen. Work on view until 15 June.
Last week of the summer exhibition. Seventeen works still available. Closing Sunday 31 August at 5 pm.

Questions from the previous version

How does Flova write about art without sounding too academic?

By putting the person behind the work at the centre. Language that invites and intrigues, not that requires prior knowledge.

Can we manage multiple exhibitions at the same time in Flova?

Yes. Each exhibition gets its own content series with an announcement, a vernissage post and a closing-week post.

Does Flova work for galleries that also sell art online?

Yes. Online shop products are scheduled as a separate content type alongside the event posts.

Today: explain your service clearly

Flova now helps you rewrite an existing service page. You check the source, add context and edit the proposal yourself. Flova does not publish to your website or social media accounts.

From social communication to your service page

Name the specific service this page describes. Start with your customers’ questions without adding unconfirmed facts or promises.

Explain who the service is for, how an enquiry works and what information you need. Mention an area only if you actually work there.
