Social media for hotels in Belgium
Previous content, for reference
This page retains its original address. The social media examples below come from the previous version of Flova. Automatic publishing, subscriptions and stated results are not part of the current writing studio’s offer.
Someone waking up for your hotel.
Packages, room details, breakfast, local events. Flova writes three posts a week for your hotel, in Dutch, French and English where needed, and publishes on Facebook, Instagram and Google.
Common questions in your sector
- Booking.com and Airbnb dominate, your own channels stay empty
- International guests only find you via OTAs, never directly
- Wellness and package deals stay underused
- Competing with international chains feels impossible
Examples from the previous social media version
Weekend away in the heart of Bruges: two nights, breakfast and a bottle of cava in the room. From 189 euros, available until mid-December.
Behind the scenes: our new junior suites overlooking the Reie. Custom furniture by a local craftsman.
For business travellers: meeting room for 8, lunch and coffee all-in. Book for Monday, use the same week.
Questions from the previous version
How do I pull direct bookings away from Booking.com?
Flova promotes your own booking engine with arguments guests understand: better room allocation, free upgrade chance, more flexible cancellation. Without badmouthing the OTAs.
Does Flova also work in French and English?
Yes. You share information once in your main language, Flova produces posts in Dutch, French and English. Tailored to the right audience per channel.
How do I handle seasonal peaks and quiet periods?
Flova builds annual calendars with a focus on peaks (Brussels Beer Weekend, Tomorrowland, Christmas Markets) and specific offers for quiet weeks. Occupancy becomes more even.
Today: explain your service clearly
Flova now helps you rewrite an existing service page. You check the source, add context and edit the proposal yourself. Flova does not publish to your website or social media accounts.
From social communication to your service page
Name the specific service this page describes. Start with your customers’ questions without adding unconfirmed facts or promises.
Explain who the service is for, how an enquiry works and what information you need. Mention an area only if you actually work there.
Choose a concrete next step supported by your website: contact, a quote request or an appointment. Check that the button leads to the right destination.
The studio is now also available in English. You check all facts and publish the text yourself.
