Social media for bookshops in Belgium
Previous content, for reference
This page retains its original address. The social media examples below come from the previous version of Flova. Automatic publishing, subscriptions and stated results are not part of the current writing studio’s offer.
A good reader finds their shop.
New titles, reading tips by genre, signing sessions and book clubs. Flova writes three posts a week for your bookshop, schedules them around buying moments, and publishes on Facebook, Instagram and Google.
Common questions in your sector
- Bol.com and Amazon take sales with fast delivery
- Customers don't know which new titles are on your table
- Signing sessions and readings don't fill up
- Book lovers find inspiration on BookTok, not with you
Examples from the previous social media version
On our table this week: 'The Eight Mountains' by Cognetti, rediscovered after the film. Hardcover 24.90 euros, limited stock.
Saturday 2pm: signing session with Lize Spit for her new novel. Free entry, coffee is ready.
Reading tip for the holidays: 'Stoner' by John Williams. A quiet novel, perfect for long winter evenings.
Questions from the previous version
How do I compete with online giants like Bol.com?
Flova promotes what online cannot offer: personal advice, curation of your table, events with authors. Local connection beats anonymous webshops.
Does this work for signing sessions and book clubs?
Yes. Flova builds separate campaigns per event: announcement two weeks ahead, reminder two days ahead, thank-you post afterwards with an atmosphere photo.
Can I make separate recommendations per genre?
Absolutely. Flova alternates between fiction, non-fiction, children's books and local authors. Customers with specific tastes feel seen.
Today: explain your service clearly
Flova now helps you rewrite an existing service page. You check the source, add context and edit the proposal yourself. Flova does not publish to your website or social media accounts.
From social communication to your service page
Name the specific service this page describes. Start with your customers’ questions without adding unconfirmed facts or promises.
Explain who the service is for, how an enquiry works and what information you need. Mention an area only if you actually work there.
Choose a concrete next step supported by your website: contact, a quote request or an appointment. Check that the button leads to the right destination.
The studio is now also available in English. You check all facts and publish the text yourself.
